Adam & Samantha tied the knot steps from the Atlantic Ocean...

Their venue, the Claridge Hotel, sits right next to Park Place and the iconic Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey (yes, we were getting all the Monopoly nostalgia!). The "Skyscraper by the Sea" was built in 1930 and has still has so many amazing architectural and stylish details from its storied past. Nearly 100 years of Atlantic City fanfare has happened behind those doors, and on August 7, 2021, that fanfare was Adam and Samantha's wedding! The beautiful couple had been together for 9 years (!) before getting married, which made every moment of their day all the more sweet.

Their morning began getting ready with their closest friends and family. Samantha and her crew were treated to a luxurious experience in the hotel's bridal suite, which had plenty of room for a crowd and beautiful light coming in from the windows. She had prepared all the special details of the day so we could get right to work documenting all these sweet touches - the invitation suite, florals, rings, vow books, dress, and more.

Once she was in her dress (which, by the way, looked amazing on her), she had a first look with both her father and then Adam. Both moments were so beautiful, and we took advantage of the last few moments of dry skies before a light drizzle started to come down! But a little rain meant we got to move inside and take some portraits of the happy couple on the Claridge's grand staircase, which really emphasized how impressive Samantha's cathedral veil was.

The ceremony was hosted in the Claridge's Southampton room, which features a unique and beautiful lighting installation. After this, the guests moved into cocktail hour while the couple took advantage of their vacant ceremony space for a few more portraits. The whole party then moved into the Claridge's Oceanview room for the reception. The room had large windows on three walls to let a little of the Atlantic City ambience in. Their reception was a perfect balance of emotional dances and speeches and a whole lot of fun once the dance floor opened up.

Please join us in congratulating the new Mr. & Mrs. Clements - we hope you two have a lifetime of happiness!
