Was this the perfect wedding day?

Chris & Shannon's wedding day easily sits in the upper echelon of most the fun, beautiful, and emotional weddings that we've ever photographed. And we think after you scroll through some of the photos below, their wedding may just become "wedding goals" for you as well!

The couple got married on a gorgeous June day in New Jersey. Their wedding mass was hosted at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mays Landing, which was just a short drive from their reception venue: Renault Winery. The two spent their mornings apart at the Renault property, not seeing each other before Shannon walked down the aisle at their church - and you can just imagine how emotional that moment was! After they were officially married, everyone took the trip back to Renault, where the couple got portraits with their families and wedding party before enjoying some private portrait time for just the two of them - now newlyweds! Throughout the rest of the evening, the couple mingled and danced with their closest friends and family throughout their Cocktail Hour and Reception, hosted in Renault's Champagne Ballroom.

All of their special details items and accents - the colors, the textures - everything was so classically elegant that we can't stop looking at them! We especially loved Shannon's shoes, the trunk they brought to their church to hold their wedding programs, and their wedding monogram that was present on all their stationary and signage.

The moment Shannon came down the aisle - we were obsessed with how she wore her veil down (you don't see that enough!), her sweet father, and all of Chris's emotions when he saw her. Bonus points for the fact that the couple literally could not keep their eyes off one another for the rest of their ceremony, sharing laughter and smiles throughout the whole mass!
Their newlywed portraits - the awesome staff at Renault helped us tour what felt like the whole property to find the most amazing spots for the couple's portraits. Our favorite part, though, is that we can just feel both Shannon and Chris's personalities and love radiating from them! Every time we see one of these portraits, it feels like we're right back there, standing with this amazing couple!
All of the moments throughout their reception where the couple got to interact with their families and friends - through special toasts, dances, mingling, and living it up, it was so clear just how special all these people are to Chris & Shannon.
Their wedding cake, which gave us the same vibes as the St. Joseph's Cakes (at least that's what our family called them!) that we'd enjoy every spring as kids. The icing piped in that iconic texture, the cherries... it was a huge nostalgia thing for us and we loved it
Finally, the mid-reception "look" change for Shannon before the couple's dreamy sunset photo session out on the golf course green. We loved the simple gown that Shannon changed into and the pulled-back hair that she wore for the rest of the night. It looked effortless but still so elegant and got her ready for a night of of partying!
