A Dreamy Season, Location & Couple

Tim and Makena are such a beautiful couple from our neck of the woods in South Jersey. They've been together for years and got engaged this past summer. Tim planned a beautiful beach proposal on July 4th and - spoiler alert - Makena said yes!

When we were chatting with the couple about where they'd like to go for their engagement session, they immediately identified Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA as their ideal spot. And we can't say that we disagree with that choice! It's absolutely beautiful year round and was the perfect setting to get them some really romantic, dreamy engagement photos. We especially loved spending time around the fountains and conservatory - those spaces really brought a classical feel to their photos.

We had such a fun time walking through the grounds at Longwood with these two. Makena had the sweetest smile and laugh that we got to see so much throughout the whole hour we spent together. And we were very lucky at the end of the session to have gotten a few minutes of the sun peaking through the heavy overcast clouds to give us an amazing flood of warm sunlight. To take full advantage of that great sunset, we brought the couple to a big open field where it was just them, their love, and all that beautiful light.
