Dom & Emmy are getting married!

These two have so many amazing and exciting things going on right now! As they were wrapping up the process of purchasing their first home, Dom got down on one knee and proposed to Emmy right in the lot that their future home would be built on. She said yes, and now these two are moving right into planning a wedding!

Dom & Emmy are such a sweet couple and there were smiles galore at their engagement session. The two decided on Cooper River Park for their location, which is one of our favorite spots to catch a really beautiful, golden sunset. And this day didn't disappoint! There was a warm, dreamy glow leading up to sunset, then a cool, romantic twilight period as the sun dipped behind the trees. It was magical! We still cannot get over how cute Emmy's smile is, and how much genuine love you can see from Dom when he looks at her.

We wandered around the north shore of the park for a while, finding lots of great spots for portraits along the way. The couple even brought a felt letter board with their wedding date on it so they could use those photos to help their friends and family save the date! We love when couples bring fun props like that to engagement sessions because it helps it feel so personal - and it's practical to use for engagement announcements or save the date cards.
