Carmen and Alycia got married on a beautiful September day at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.

From the moment we arrived at the Champagne Ballroom to greet the happy couple, we were surrounded by their friends and family and so many of the well-planned details that dripped of their personalities and love for one another. Everything about their wedding day was a dream - their gorgeous venue, all the special elements of their day that they'd planned for months, and of course the couple themselves, who took the next step in their love story together as they promised to love each other forever in front of their closest friends and family.

Their day took us on a journey that started with Alycia and her ladies getting ready in and around the Champagne ballroom. We explored every nook and cranny of the space to use for photos - there was fun in the bridal suite, a champagne party on the roof, her beautiful dress showcased in the sunroom, and a first look with her step dad in the atrium. Carmen and his entourage had just as much fun exploring the elegant Chateau Renault as they got ready - from the expansive suite to the bright landing space and out to the front porch and small hotel-front vineyard. The two came together only when Alycia walked down the aisle. It was an amazingly emotional moment watching as Carmen saw his bride for the first time that day in her beautiful dress. Their ceremony was so poignantly led by their officiant, who shared sweet sentiments about the two, taken straight from letters they'd personally written to each other. As the ceremony drew to a close and the couple had their first kiss, the crowd cheered for joy to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Raroha. After enjoying their receiving line and some time for wedding party and family photos, we whisked the couple on a journey around the property to take advantage of a number of amazing locations for their newlywed portraits.
