It was a beautiful September day filled with love and family.
Jeri & Yusra had already had their official wedding ceremony a few days before we saw them, as part of their days-long celebration. So when we all met up at Princeton University that morning, it was all about portrait time - one of our favorite parts of the wedding day!
Yusra told us from the beginning that she dreamed of colorful, romantic portraits of the two of them that would capture their love and show off just how amazing her bridal outfit was - and we were so inspired by that! We worked around the University campus for a while before heading back to the Bradford Estate, where the couple was hosting their large families together to celebrate their marriage.
Some of our favorite moments of the day, both big and some small:
- Literally everything about Yusra - her bridal outfit, jewelry, henna, her gorgeous smile, and the way her eyes lit up when she and Jeri laughed together. It was so sweet and she looked absolutely stunning!
- The little passthrough hallway we found on campus with large, arched windows. These shots are some of our favorites of the 2022 wedding season!
- The moment where Yusra's father walked her out of the reception into the car with Jeri. The moment was perfectly emotional and so touching.
