A one-of-a-kind wedding for a one-of-a-kind couple

Kyle and Shannon's wedding was truly one of the most unique ones we've been to in a long time! These two have an amazing sense of what they love, and they wanted to be surrounded by all those things on their special day. We are still swooning over all the details and how beautiful their vision turned out!

Kyle and Shannon have been together for ten years (!) after meeting in college. They also have a two year old son, who played such an important part of their special day. They are huge fans of music, meaning we heard lots of Phish references throughout the night!

Their day started off surrounded by their closest friends and family as they got ready. Their venue was only a short drive away, and we soon found ourselves at a secluded yet vibrant residence that had once been an art school! The whole property had so much character inside and out and was the perfect setting for Kyle & Shannon's special day. The large front porch was turned into space for a bar, dessert table, gift & card collection, and a "guest book" (check out their super-creative take on this!), and included multiple gathering areas. And the ceremony space was transformed with oriental rugs and pillows, ample chairs and benches, and a huge golden arch nestled between mature trees, surrounded by dreamcatchers and pampas grass. The whole property was wonderful and so perfectly-styled - and we haven't even mentioned the cute bunnies that we got to share the space with!

Shannon shared a special moment with her father, a first look, nestled in a wooded alcove on the edge of the property. Kyle and Shannon decided to not have a first look together, and instead waited until the ceremony to see each other - and the moment didn't disappoint! It was every bit as poignant and emotional as you'd hope, and the two looked beautiful together under their grand arch, with their family and friends watching them get married. Their first kiss was met with so many cheers, and from there, the party began!

Throughout the evening, Kyle and Shannon mingled with their many guests in what felt like an amazing summer outdoor concert - the atmosphere was so fun, light, and comfortable! The guests were treated to a delicious taco bar and had tons of time to dance, talk, and enjoy the company. Kyle and Shannon each had their special dances with their parents, with Shannon and her father really kicking up the tempo and having some fun with theirs! Their Best Man and Maid of Honor gave incredible speeches, reminding everyone in attendance about some sweet - and funny - memories of the two of them, and how perfect they were together. As the sun went down, we took a short walk to a secluded clearing on the property and created some really beautiful portraits of the two of them. When we returned to the party, it was time for cake and some real fun with glow sticks!

We cannot say congrats enough to Kyle and Shannon - the new Mr. & Mrs. DiRaddo! These two, their friends and family, and the space in which they chose to celebrate their wedding were so wonderful, and we had an amazing time spending the day with them.
